Suppliers

In 2009, MMNA spent approximately $189 million on production and service parts from approximately 196 North American suppliers in 287 locations. Of that number, $58 million constituted purchases from 31 Illinois suppliers in 35 locations. MMNA spent more than $22 million on raw materials in 2009 with $1.4 million representing purchases from Illinois suppliers.
Believing a quality supplier base can only be achieved through diversity, MMNA established a Supplier Diversity Program in October 1996. This program is successfully enhancing opportunities for minority- and women-owned business enterprises by increasing their opportunities with MMNA, and creating other opportunities through the Central Illinois Supplier Development Council and the annual Heart of Illinois Trade Fair--both co-founded by Mitsubishi Motors.
Supplier Diversity
The Supplier Diversity Program strives to enhance opportunities for business enterprises owned by minorities and women. We believe that a quality supplier base can only be achieved through diversity, men and women, people of color and different cultures and backgrounds working together to achieve one goal--- a quality product.
