MMNA operates one of the most technologically advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world. MMNA Manufacturing Division has a current production capacity of 120,000 vehicles. The production line is designed to accommodate several different models intermixed on one assembly line. At this time, MMNA Manufacturing is producing the Outlander Sport crossover utility vehicle for the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Russia, the Ukraine, Lebanon, and many countries in the Persian Gulf, Central America, and South America.
Approximately 400 robots are housed on 636 acres in Central Illinois with 2.4 million square feet or the equivalent of 50 football fields under one roof.
Representing a truly integrated manufacturing facility, MMNA Manufacturing stamps most major body panels and injection-molds the bumper fascias, as well as fenders in house, ensuring excellence in build. Production Associates work in five shops: Stamping, Plastics, Body, Paint, and Trim/Final Assembly.
